About E-Bike Chooser

Most “best e-bike” lists rank the same bikes for everyone. The right bike for a 3-mile flat commute is the wrong one for a hilly 12-mile ride to a third-floor walk-up.

E-Bike Chooser asks five questions about your ride and ranks real bikes against them, using specs we check against each manufacturer’s own pages. Today the catalog covers 111 bikes from 8 brands: Aventon, Heybike, Lectric eBikes, Rad Power Bikes, Ride1Up, SUPER73, Specialized, Velotric. We add brands and models as we verify them.

How we stay independent

We don’t accept payment for placement, and the ranking method is published in full on How we rank. We may earn a commission when you buy through some links, which is how the site pays for itself. That never changes the order.

Who runs it

E-Bike Chooser is operated by CX Ventures LLC, an independent company in Atlanta, Georgia. We are not owned by, or paid by, any bike brand.
